Welcome to Grand United, your alternative health fund
On 1 October 2005, Grand United Health Fund and Australian Unity Health Fund merged. The new Australian Unity Health Fund brings together the best of both funds to offer members even better health cover options.
If you are an existing Grand United member, you should have received a comprehensive information package about the merger, and your new membership card in the mail. Your Grand United cover, rebates and limits do not changes as a result of the merger – but we can now offer you some new savings and benefits of membership.
If you were planning to join Grand United, Australian Unity can help you with a range of health covers and options which include natural and preventative therapies such as our Harmony and LifeChoice covers.

Online Services
You can still use our online services to manage your health cover.
If you were previously registered to access the members area of the Grand United website, from 3 October 2005, all you need to do is visit Australian Unity Online Services, enter your new Australian Unity membership number as your username, and use your existing Grand United password.
If you haven’t previously registered to use online services, you can do so now at Australian Unity Online Services or by calling 13 29 39.
Use Online Services to:
- View your claims and remaining yearly limits
- Change your address or contact details
- Request a replacement membership card
- View your health cover details
- Add or change your health cover direct credit details
